Greenfield Robotics is pleased to announce that senior technology executive Todd Trippany has made an investment in the company.
Todd has been working in technology for over two decades as two startups with IPO’s and corporate roles.
He held global responsibilities at Omniture, a division of Adobe, for alliances and partnerships with key agencies to drive revenue for Adobe. He also drove several programs to integrate agencies’ technology platforms with Adobe. Afterward, Todd joined Piano (formerly Tinypass), where he has North American responsibility for sales and business development.
“I partnered with Clint early in our respective careers, when I was at Omniture and he was at Sony,” says Todd, referring to Greenfield Robotics CEO Clint Brauer. “Even back then, Clint showed vision by bringing together disparate technologies in ways that had never been done before, to drive his strategic marketing objectives. I’m excited to be part of this latest venture and to see where things go.”
“I loved working with Todd, and he shared the vision and passion that we needed to get things done at Sony,” says Clint. “He also has found success in the food industry and understands the importance of our mission at Greenfield to the industry”
Greenfield Robotics is developing robots to replace chemicals in agriculture, and to enable large-scale implementation of carbon farming, a new system of farming that holds the promise of sequestering carbon in farmland on a global scale.
