We are pleased to announce that senior marketing executive Jim Berridge has made an investment in Greenfield Robotics.

Jim has held a number of leadership roles at major corporations.  Early in his career, Jim led Sony’s strategic marketing and promotions business, connecting content with leading consumer brands to drive customer acquisition and create innovative marketing programs using Sony's digital products (digital music, e-books, promotional video).
Jim then spent a decade at Nielsen in Client Service and Business Development within Nielsen’s  Marketing Performance business unit. Most recently, Jim managed new business and commercial operations for Nielsen’s Brand Effect through its divestiture and acquisition by Phoenix Marketing International, where Jim now manages Business Development for their Advertising and Brand Communication services.

“I’m very excited to be supporting Clint and the rest of the Greenfield Robotics team,” says Jim.  “At this point in time, consumers are increasingly concerned about their health in addition to climate change, and demanding greater transparency in their food.  Greenfield Robotics is tackling massive problems that people want to have solved.”

“We’ve been focused on food transparency and eliminating chemicals from farming for years,” says Clint Brauer, Co-Founder and CEO of Greenfield Robotics.  “Consumers are voting with their wallets, and food brands are listening to them. People want food that is sustainable, transparent and chemical-free; this is where the world is headed, and we’re going to enable farmers to get there first.”

Greenfield Robotics is developing robots to replace chemicals in agriculture by enabling large-scale implementation of regenerative agriculture.  Regenerative agriculture is a new system of farming that holds the promise of sequestering carbon in farmland on a global scale. Greenfield Robotics is making this economically viable for the planet.
