Craig Bramscher, successful hardware entrepreneur, invests in Greenfield Robotics
Craig Bramscher, founder of the Brammo electric motorcycle company, has made an investment in Greenfield Robotics.
“I have always been passionate about finding ways to fight climate change, but doing it in a way that makes sense to all stakeholders, not just the bottom line” says Craig.
"I spent a decade developing and selling electric motorcycles globally because I knew it was possible to create a motorcycle that’s great for the consumers while also friendly to the environment.  Greenfield is developing technology that’s great for farmers and also helps reduce chemicals and greenhouse gases.”
Brammo, Inc., was a manufacturer of electric traction motors, traction batteries, and electric motorcycles.  In 2015, Brammo’s electric motorcycle business was acquired by Polaris Industries, who incorporated Brammo’s motorcycles into their Victory product line.  In 2017, Cummins acquired Brammo’s motor and battery technologies.
Brammo developed and sold a range of motorcycles through dealers throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.  Brammo motorcycles achieved renown for their performance, earning several accolades including the TTXGP North American Championship in 2011 and placing first in the 2012 TTXGP World Championship.
“Craig is a rare talent with exits across multiple industries, including hardware.  He built and scaled scale a successful electric motorcycle business before most investors were aware it was technically feasible,” says Clint Brauer, CEO/Co-Founder of Greenfield Robotics.
“We develop and integrate leading edge software engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and agricultural expertise in both methods and market.
The market we are beginning to serve  is potentially the largest I’ve ever seen in 20+ years of entrepreneurial endeavors; but unlike in software apps, product execution is not a given.   We’ve got the right leadership team in place, and Craig’s investment is not only a vote of confidence, but also a terrific asset in the experience and network of talent that we now have access to.
Greenfield Robotics is a startup that is developing robots to enable farmers to implement carbon farming (or regenerative farming) on a large scale, economically and without agrichemicals.
